Nagasaki viewpoints - Kazagashira Park
Kazagashira-yama is a small hill but it also offers nice views of Nagasaki. I started the walk from the Nakashima River, where the famous Meganebashi or Spectacles Bridge is. First, you have to walk through a cemetery, before the path takes you into the forest. After a little climb you reach the top where two viewing platforms stand, one of them with the statue of Sakamoto Ryoma. From the top you can descent to the other side, finishing at the Sofuku-ji Buddhist temple and Yasaka Shinto shrine.
See other Nagasaki viewpoints: Inasa-yama (Mount Inasa) and Glover Hill and Nabekanmuri-yama.
