Crossing Iran
Iran was surprisingly modern, not the backward country I was expecting, and the people were exremely friendly, although English was very limited. I went through Teheran, Isfahan, Persepolis and Shiraz. In the last city I stayed at a friendly family, before I carried on towards Pakistan.
