Kenting – A party town with beaches in a national park
Kenting is a small town located within Kenting National Park, Taiwan’s most famous coastal reserve. It sits along Kenting Main Beach, a pleasant sandy shoreline, although swimming is not allowed here due to strong currents. However, there are other nearby beaches where visitors can enjoy the water, such as Little Bay and Sail Rock Beach. Though Kenting town is small, it has a lively and vibrant atmosphere, especially in the evenings. The main street is lined with restaurants, bars, and shops, and every night it transforms into a bustling night market, offering street food and drinks. While the town has a reputation for its nightlife, the music and noise typically quiet down around midnight.
