Qingjing Farm - Forget the theme parks, enjoy the scenery!
Located between 1,700 and 2,000 meters above sea level, the Qingjing Farm (Cingjing Farm) area is a popular mountain retreat known for its European-style landscapes and architecture. The main attraction for most visitors is the Green Green Grassland, located within the farm, with grazing sheep, sheep-shearing shows, other farm animals, and newly built "old" European buildings. The Swiss Garden is another artificial European-style landmark. For families with kids, Carton King offers fun rides and entertainment. Many buildings in the area follow the same European theme.
Even if you're not interested in these venues, as I am not, the location itself is undeniably beautiful, with stunning mountain views. For me, the only truly worthwhile attraction is the Skywalk, a 1.6 km elevated walkway that runs parallel to the main road but, thanks to its height, offers far superior views. Qingjing Farm is also a good base for exploring the high peaks of Hehuanshan.

Walking down from the upper entrance of Qingjing Farm along the main road, until the entrance of the Skywalk.
You can get on the Skywalk at the middle entrance of Qingjing Farm. There are also some cheap restaurants here.

At the end of the Skywalk you find the lower entrance of Qingjing Farm, a few shops, Carton King, and the Swiss Garden.
Walking from the Swiss Garden area to my hotel. The "old" European-style buildings were all recently built, but the views are beautiful.
My hotel, Zu Sin Garden.
View from the road-side and more fake old buildings, among them the popular The Old England Hotel.
On the last day, from my hotel I walked down to the settlement of Wushe to enjoy the views for the last time. Looking back I could spot Zu Sin Garden on top of the range (marked with a red circle on one of the photos).
