Arriving in Taipei - First time in Taiwan

In a matter of three hours, I arrived from a freezing winter (-14°C) to a pleasant spring. This is my first time in Taiwan, and my first impressions are very positive. Aside from the warm weather, I really like the atmosphere of the city. It’s modern and developed, yet it has a gritty charm where skyscrapers stand alongside weathered old buildings. And it’s undeniably Chinese, something that feels even more pronounced during the ongoing Lunar New Year festivities. Let's see how this trip will turn out!

My temporary home in Ximending, Taipei. The room is small but I love the floor-to-ceiling window!
