Taking the Shanghai maglev train - Flying to the airport

I was a bit disappointed when I learned that a few years ago they limited the speed of the Shanghai maglev train. It could go as fast as 5-600 km/h and it used to go with 430 km/h, but now they set the speed limit at 300 km/h. Even the bullet train is faster! Anyway, it is very unique: as far as I know, the world's only commercial magnetic levitating (thus maglev) train. So on my last day in Shanghai, after a short visit to the "fake market" in Pudong, I walked via Century Park to the Longyang Road station from where the train departs. The one-way fare is 50 yuans, but if you have a flight ticket for the same day it is only 40. Doesn't really matter, it's still around the bus ticket price to the airport in Budapest, but instead of going over a bumpy road you're literally levitating above ground. The train reached 301 km/h speed, and at curves it tilted. It was a nice experience, a great way to say goodbye to Shanghai.

Lighters are confiscated at the entrance of the airport, so there are built in lighters in the smoking room.
