Central Shanghai, The Bund, and a view of Pudong - at night

After discovering a cheap self-service restaurant right next to my hostel that had a feeling of old China, where working class people ate, beer cost less then in the shop, and you could smoke and throw the butt on the floor, I went back to the centre to see Shanghai at night. I walked more or less in the same area, from my hostel along a small river branch to The Bund, on Nanjing Road and some of its side streets, and then back to The Bund again to see it and the futurist Oriental Pearl Tower in Pudong illuminated.
