Walks along the Jeddah Corniche
Jeddah has a long coast and parts of it were turned into pedestrian walkways with recreational areas, public art, kiosks, and the like, known as the Jeddah Corniche. Supposedly it consists of three separate walkways. The northern corniche is between Al Rahma Mosque (next to the yacht port) and City Park (next to the fishing pier) and runs for around 10-11 kilometres. The Middle Corniche is much shorter, roughly 2 kilometres, between Hassan Enany Mosque and Corniche Park, opposite the King Fahad's Fountain. The southern corniche is possibly around the port area next to Al-Balad, as several landmarks are called Corniche, but I couldn't find it neither on the ground nor on the map.
The Middle Corniche from King Fahad's Fountain (south) to Hassan Enany Mosque (north).
The northern walk, often called the Jeddah Corniche, starting from City Park (south) to Al Rahma Mosque and the Jeddah Yacht Club's port. At the time of my visit, it was not possible to walk along the shore all the way as at one point constructions obstructed the path. A detour took me around it, via the Jeddah Corniche Circuit motor racing track, and then I could rejoin the coastal walk.
