Hampi - Short walk and sunset views from Hemakuta Hill
Hemakuta Hill is right in the centre of Hampi, overlooking the towering Virupaksha Temple. It is the most popular sunset viewing point, and also the easiest walk. If you start 1-2 hours earlier, you can discover several other temples and amazing statues. Keep in mind, however, that Hemakuta Hill closes at 6 PM (the guards actually let people stay until the sun goes down), so you get there in time.

The Kadalekalu Ganesha Temple.
When you descend from the Kadalekalu Ganesha Temple, you reach a short stretch of an ancient road.
From there, it's few steps to the Shri Krishna Swamy Temple.
Few more steps, and you reach Shri Lakshmi Narasimha Temple and Shree Badavilinga Gudi.
Heading back towards Hemakuta Hill, you get to the Saasivekaalu Ganesha. There is access from here to the sunset area on the hill.
