The 2024 Bikaner Camel Festival - Day 3

The third and final day of the 2024 Bikaner Camel Festival was held near a village called Raisar around 20 kilometres from Bikaner city centre. There are some sand dunes in this area and a number of desert lodges. We arrived early, but that turned out good. It was very foggy and cold, and the cameleers were just arriving, setting up camp among shrubs, feeding the camels and warming themselves around a fire. Later, rural sport competitions were held, which I found interesting, but the rest of the programs were too touristy to my liking. It was still very worth the visit; I especially liked the early hours.
