Bikaner - Few attractions but beautiful old architecture

If it wasn't for the Camel Festival, I wouldn't have visited Bikaner. It's not one of the most attractive cities in India, but, apart it does have a few attractions and beautiful old architecture. The main sights include the Seth Bhandasar Jain Temple, which was closed when I visited, the Junagarh Fort, which I only checked out from the outside, and Rampuria Haveli, which is one of the cluster of magnificent red buildings in the old town.

You find many other beautiful architectual work in the old town, south of the railway station and railway line that divides the city into two halves. The ICAR-National Research Centre on Camel is a different type of place of interest, plus you find nearby the famous "Rat Temple".
