The monolithic Masroor Rock Cut Temple

Not as grandoise as the Kailasa Temple in Elora, nevertheless the Masroor Temple is also an impressive monolithic building carved out of solid rock. It can be visited in a day from Dharamshala, but the only possibility seems to be a taxi. A return trip for about GBP 25 is still very reasonable. A warning: you can't buy a paper ticket at the site, you have to buy an e-ticket either by scanning a QR code or online. You may ask strangers to help you, like I did, as most Indians have applications to pay with a smart phone, and then you can pay them in cash.
