Tashkent - A modern and neat, but not too exciting city

Tashkent, the capital of Uzbekistan, is the largest city in Central Asia, but, as far as I'm concerned, not the most exciting. It's spread out with big parks, wide avenues and large government buildings, it's modern and fast developing, it has some lively spots and historic attractions, but there isn't much to do in general.
If you like that kind of things, there is a Disneyland-like amuzement park with replicas of fammous buildings of the world. I don't know how I ended up there, but anyway I took some photos. In the centre, Tashkent City park is ultramodern, and the neighbourhoods around it are just developing. There is some action on the so-called Broadway, at least during the day, but in general Tashkent is a quiet city. I visited the main attractions of Tashkent on other days.
