A short stopover in Bishkek

After Naryn I wanted to go to Osh, which, looking at the map, is not that far. However, it is separated from that area by high mountain ranges and there is no public transport over the passes. So the cheapest way was to go back to Bishkek, where my Kyrgyzstan jouney started, and then travel south again from there. I stayed in a nice apartment offering views of the distant mountain ranges and I spent my time mostly working. But at least I had the chance to visit the Burana tower and, in Bishkek itself, I also discovered another nice mosque and a few other Soviet-era monuments. Then, when my time was up, I headed to the Western Bus Station near Osh Bazaar.
