Qasr Al Watan and the Etihad Towers

Qasr Al Watan, the "Palace of the Nation", is not a residence but a government building where meetings and events take place and where foreign delegations are welcomed. At the same time, it is also open for the public and it is one of the main attractions of Abu Dhabi. It is located not far from the Conrad Abu Dhabi Etihad Towers, a group of skysrapers. One of them has an observation deck on the 74th floor, offering a great view of Qasr Al Watan and much of Abu Dhabi. Unfortunately the windows are quite dirty so you can't make clear photographs. Entrance to Qasr Al Watan costs 65 AED, and the entry fee to the observation deck is 35 AED.
