Mexico City - The National Museum of Anthropology in photos

An absolutely fabulous museum with artefacts from different regions of Mexico and from different cultures. The most striking items include a towering Toltec sculpture, the massive stone sun calendar, and the Olmec colossal heads. The route taken in this post is anti-clockwise, starting with Teotihuacan and Toltec (upper right). The subsequent exhibitions are: Mexica, Oaxaca and the Gulf of Mexico, Maya, West and North, finishing with a little of the anthropological displays (lower right).
