Christ the Redeemer and Mirante Dona Marta

Obviously touristy, but you cannot miss this attraction. The panoramic view of the city is just amazing! Then you have some interesting creatures, not afraid of people. First I thought I would climb the mountain but I didn't have enough time so I walked from Largo do Machado to the Corcovado station and took the tourist train. Then, on the way down, I got off the train and got on a motorbike taxi and went to the viewpoint of Mirante Dona Marta. It gives a bit of a different perspective plus you have the view of the Christ statue. It is located just above the favela of Dona Marta -- in Rio, the poorest people live in the best places.
