Thailand, after 18 years

It's been almost two decades since I visited Thailand the last time. Quite a few things have changed, especially the prices - it's still cheap compared to Western Europe, but not as much as it used to be. There is also a new airport in Bangkok, and probably many new skyscrapers, but there were already many, so that's not that striking. I'm not planning to spend too much time in Thailand (actually I will leave tomorrow to Laos, although will come back again), but it was nice to spend a couple of days in Bangkok. One of the things I liked is a project where they ask foreigners to practice English with Thai students - a great idea, as indeed it is the best way to improve oral skills.
