Karlu Karlu - the Devil's Marbles

A little north of Alice Springs, near the main road, is a magical site: Karlu Karlu. Europeans called it the Devils Marbles, but it is an aboriginal sacred site, and today a natural protectorate. Dotted with massive granite boulders thrown around by some supernatural forces, the landscape reminded me of the Matopos in Zimbabwe and Hampi in India.
